Ella and I checked out the butterfly house at London zoo. This one sat

Ella and Ethan had a brilliant time in Liverpool this weekend. Ethan
had two birthday parties to go to, so we tagged along. Here they are
on the way to a Footballers and Fairies party.

Lyndon is off to China today so the girls will be fending for themselves for a week or so.  Usual preparations are in place:  Chart for Ella to count the days until Dad gets back, lots of short cuts for dinner in the freezer, the promise of a Mulan Barbie from Shanghai...  These are the times I reallly appreciate how many times Lyndon empties the dishwasher!
